Top 3 Healthy Foods You Should Cut Out


The average adult eating an average modern Western diet in the United States consumes about 67% of their total calories from the following three foods: corn, soy, and wheat. According to history of our ancestors and their diets, humans only ate about one to five percent of their calories in corn, wheat, and soy.

Because of the huge increase in eating these products over the years, it has resulted in huge health problems and weight problems with Americans! We see this manifested in allergies, specifically to soy and wheat, and intolerances (like gluten intolerance). The digestive system is not designed to tolerate such high amounts of these types of foods.

The most common foods that come from corn, wheat, and soy are high fructose corn syrup, corn oil, soybean oil, soy protein, refined wheat flour, and corn starch. One of the most commonly consumed out of these is the high fructose corn syrup, which is used to sweeten soda, juices, salad dressings and packaged baked goods. These foods contain a lot of calories and add to the waistline.

Soybean oil and corn oil are used in many processed foods, such as chips, candy, cake, tomato sauce, breaded chicken, and more. These are also unhealthy and pack on the calories.

What makes this whole situation even worse is that most animals are fed these products, which makes the animal products pass along some if it to humans.

Why are these products so unhealthy? Because of the following reasons:

  • Problems with Gluten Intolerance (as a result to heavy consumption)


  • Problems with Weight Gain, blood-sugar swings, and reduced insulin sensitivity


  • Many of the pesticide residues in the crops are xenoestrogens which increases stubborn belly-fat.


  • The feeding of corn and soy to animals reduces the nutritional benefits of the animal products.

Instead of eating an overwhelming amount of corn, soy and wheat products, instead take some of these tips:

  • Stop purchasing processed foods and instead buy one-ingredient foods such as fruits, veggies, beans, and eggs.


  • Get most of your carbs from fruits and vegetables.


  • Avoid store-bought salad dressings and sauces and make your own instead! Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil make a great dressing.


  • Dip veggies in guacamole, hummus, or salsa instead of chips or pita bread

Once you have incorporated some of these changes into your diet, you will start to notice your body become leaner and your energy levels to rise. Make it a lifestyle change!
